If you are reading this assignment you are, most likely enjoying a day off due to the wonders of Mother Nature. Please stay safe and warm, and it is my hope that you have power and internet service for long enough to complete this assignment.

Follow the directions below to complete your Blizzard Bag I Assignment. Your grade on this assignment will count in PowerSchool, and your effort in completing it will be the basis for your daily Work Grade in the class.  You will be given a grade for the overall assignment, so be sure to read the directions below, and include all of the component parts listed in the directions.

Directions

Open a new Google doc and name it using your name and Blizzard Bag I in the title (example: John Smith blizzard bag I).
Use your Computer to search jobs and employment fields - occupations related to Agricultural Science.
Select one of the employment fields or jobs you find.
In approx. 250 words - one double spaced page, explain the occupation you have chosen. Be sure to include the following:
What the job is, and the duties associated with the performance of that job on a day-to-day basis?
What type of education or training is required to perform that job, and how many years of formal education are required to obtain an entry level position in that field?
If no formal education beyond high school is required, what types of On-The-Job training will be needed and for how long, in order to be properly trained to perform that job?
You will be graded on the inclusion of the required elements, listed above, as well as on the depth and completeness of your answers.
When you have completed your assignment submit it through the Blizzard Bag I assignment link that will be placed in the Google Classroom should we have a Blizzard Bag snow day.
